We will be operating as usual during the holiday season, except for the following days when we will be closed:
Dec 25: Christmas Day
Dec 26: Boxing Day
Jan 1: New Year's Day

Please note that deliveries may be subject to courier delays and timing adjustments.

Delivery Charges

Update as of 11 November 2024: 
Due to rising costs, we have had to review our shipping rates.* 

  • Enjoy free shipping for all orders over $300 (new minimum spend) to Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Brisbane Metro areas only. This is automatically applied at checkout. No discount code is required.
  • If the orders are below $300, shipping charges will be calculated by weight and destination
  • All payments are to be made in Australian dollars only.

*The rise in shipping costs has been driven by substantial increases in courier rates, particularly for deliveries to some states, regional and less accessible regions. Previously, we were able to offer a lower flat rate and even free shipping with minimum spend by absorbing much of these costs ourselves. Unfortunately, the current rates reflect the actual charges from courier services, and we are no longer in a position to offset these costs.

We deeply regret the inconvenience this change has caused. Please know that this decision was not made lightly and thank you for your understanding.

Delivery Times

Whilst we endeavour to despatch order as quickly as possible, please allow 3-5 business days for your order to be dispatched. We unfortunately cannot guarantee timely deliveries with our couriers.

 

Once orders are placed, they are not able to be edited, added to or cancelled.

Once your order with Saké Boutique has been received, your order will be processed and despatched from our warehouse within 3-5 business days (during normal business hours). If you place your order over a weekend or on a public holiday it will be processed and sent out over the following business days (Monday – Fridays). Our commitment to you is that your order will be carefully packaged and despatched within this time. You will receive an e-mail from us to let you know which courier company is handling your delivery. 

Important: 
Deliveries to Melbourne, Sydney, Adelaide and Brisbane Metro please allow 5-10 working days. Customers in other areas (WA, NT and Regional) please allow additional time. 

Shipping times are a guideline and subject to change. You may experience longer delivery times during peak periods (due to bad weather or courier delivery issues that are unforeseen or unavoidable events beyond Sake Boutique’s reasonable control. Online orders are processed and shipped from Melbourne, Victoria and so we follow any Victorian Public Holidays.

International Orders

We do not deliver outside of Australia.

Acceptance of Delivery

All orders must be signed for by a person 18+ years. Proof of age ID will be required. Please note that anyone who signs for the goods at your nominated delivery address will be assumed to be authorised by you to do so. This includes, but is not limited to staff, colleagues, relatives and friends. 

If no-one is available at the time of delivery and your parcel, please refer to your delivery notification card for options.  

Delivery Risk and Insurance

In the event that order parcel has been lost in the postal system, Saké Boutique will take responsibility and organise for another package to be delivered. However, if the order has been signed for, Saké Boutique cannot take responsibility. 

Liquor Product Descriptions

Tasting descriptions of the products delivered may vary from your experiences as temperature, glass design and storage method will vary from customer to customer.

Incorrect Address

We cannot deliver to PO Box addresses.

If you have given us an incomplete or incorrect address you will be charged a re-delivery charge plus the postal return fee. If the package cannot be delivered due to an incorrect name and the  package is returned to Saké Boutique by the shipper, you will be charged a re-delivery charge plus a postal return fee, in order to re-enable shipping.
