Hailing from the Iwate Prefecture of Japan, this junmaishu from the Kikuno Tsukasa Brewery is a bold and dry type of sake. Made from locally grown Hitomebore rice, Karakuchi Shichifukujin is a deliciously pure saké that has the perfect balance of flavours between umami and spiciness. Achieved through a carefully controlled fermentation process and by ageing the finished liquor, this junmaishu offers rich flavours with dryness and that makes it ideal for any occasion.
